Mobile phone signal booster

I'm living in a bad area for mobile phone signals and was thinkin about getting one of these. Does anyone know much about these as in what db rating should i get for coverage in a 3000sq ft house? Will it boost all networks or just one and are they like a mini mast and bad for your health?

this has been covered many a times before, search boards for it, you should find that many people say its against the law while others have had experiences using them. Give it a quick search
