unless you are fully sure don't it!! i shaved all mine off five years and regretted it big time. thankfully it's nice and long again:)

I'm a guy who HAD long hair (further than shoulder blades) AND a goatee and i've had alot more attention from women since i got it all taken off about 18 months ago. Still have short hair now, no intentions of letting it grow long again.

used to have hair about shoulder length around 2 years ago, eventually got sick of it and cut it off as it never really suited me too well, he ladies seem to prefer me with the shorter hair:D

I just cut my hair back from ponytail-type length to an inch or two above my shoulders... much prefer the way it is now. Don't think I could ever go back to really long hair again, far too difficult to manage as my hair tends to curl at the ends. I kept it in a ponytail the vast majority of the time as it felt neater, but it looked pretty crap that way tbh. There was no sense of style to my hair at all in either instance, so I was glad to let it go.

Mine goes down to my lower back, haven't cut short in 9 years.

I've had it said from many quarters that I'd get more attention from the ladies if I had short hair. I've certainly thought about it...but I need some privacy!

Also, cutting my hair for that reason would be very sleazy indeed. I don't care how long a woman's hair is, so I think a woman who cares about something as superficial as long hair is is a waste of my time.

I haven't cut my hair in three years.

I am currently growing it so that I can donate it to the cancer society that makes wigs out of it for kids going through chemotherapy.

Eventually, when it is time to cut it off, I'll have a fundraiser along the way and donate the money to the children's hospital here in Dublin.

Lord knows with Harney and these FF jackasses in the Dail, they could every donation possible.

I do realise that this could bethe very first time on these boards, where it has been said that an American has put his head to good use.

Mine is usually tied back because of work safety, about a foot down my back in length but going grey at the front.

I hate shaved heads full stop, or super short hair.

It's just all about knowing what looks good on you!

I think it depends entirely on the guy. Like it suits some and yes it's hot,but others you're just standing there thinking 'wtf were you thinking , you look awful dude' or something along these lines. Lol

I only know TWO guys that I can say YES Long hair suits you. One 'cause i'm just so used to him with it, he's never had his hair short EVER, well for as long as I've known him, that's a good 7/8 years, and the other simply 'cause if he was bald he'd still be hot LOL!!

I've had long hair for well over a decade... Every so often one or two girls suggest that I'd look better with short hair (presumablly cut to what ever trendy style is in vogue at the moment)
... but when I've suggested it to female friends almost all of them have said don't do it.
I've had long hair for so long that I can't imagin how i'd look, let alone feel with short hair... I guess I could use Photoshop's nonunion mexican equivalent to put various hair styles on a photo of me...

As for 2 minute showers... How do you even get your body clean in two mins... 45 minute power shower luxury ftw.

I had a ponytail between the ages of 14 and 19. At the time, I thought I was awesome, but it began to dawn on me around the age of 18 that I looked like a complete tool. I was absolutely correct. Everyone I knew said that they liked my hair and didn't think I should cut it off, but I think I look much better without it. The day I cut it off, I got a bit worried, but nowadays I can't stand to see any lads with long hair. They look like absolute fools imo. There are some exceptions (the long-hairs reading this probably think they are among the exceptions - you're not!), but by and large long hair on lads looks absolutely dreadful.

Short hair is such an effort to maintain. I used to have to do my hair every morning (there'd always be some bit at the back sticking up), usually with gel (more effort), and then there's the constant need for haircuts.

Being able to just get out of bed and not worry about my hair is why i can't see myself getting it cut short anytime soon.

Dunno if I replied to this before...but yeah I love guys with long hair! Actually every guy I've been involved with (bar 1) has had relatively long hair.
