Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

J1 end date... When do I have to be out?

Well, I'd been hoping to travel after my employment contract ended but the end date on my J1 visa is the end date of my employment. Does this mean I have to be out by that day??? If it does it's gonna be damned near impossible to do seeing as I'll be out in the middle of nowhere....

i am leaving on the 2nd of june(next week woohoo) and coming back the 28th of october

the j1 visa expires on the 1st of october i have been assured by usit that i have 30/31 days after that to travel around and that as long as i make my return flight on the 28th there will be no problem

what dates are your flights?

Haven't booked the flights, will get something last minute

phew

meant to be leaving on the 7th of June or so so I really didn't want to worry about trying to get extensions and all that
