Hi! Yet another geography question!:o


If your asked: Discuss the development of primary activities in a region you have studied....

Do you discuss 2 activities (e.g. farming and fishing)

or can you discuss only farming with two points (e.g. climate and relief)


Also, could you get penalised for writing a sample answer almost the same? I know you can't do that in english, but would it be ok in geography?

Plagiarism isn't confined to the subject of English.

mention everything! best way to answer an agriculture question in my opinion is remember FFFM - farming, fishing, forestry and mining... go through them all. Then you can talk about how things like climate, relief and soils affect each one. Basically talk about everything relevant until you have 15 srp's

Aslong as you do more than one activity you're grand, it says activities therefore answer on more than one, if it said activity answer only on one.;)

if it says 'activities' your best bet is to do 2. usually farming and something else - fishing, forestry etc.
You get an srp for naming each activity and for naming the the region (3 x 2marks), then you need 12 srps, and you'd easily get 6 points on each activity.
You dont have alot of time to do the question so try not to put too much extra information as you could end up spending far too much time on it!
