Jesus christ that Positive Education remix is an abortion, i wish to fcuk these bas*ards would leave classic Old Skool tracks alone unless they are going to stay true to the original tune.:mad:

LOL, I dont think I've ever heard a remix described as an abortion before.

I'm a huge fan of the original PE. An absolute classic. Gotta say though this is a good remix. Thumbs up from me

it's downright awful and is an embarrassment to the original which is one of the all time great Techno tunes,ive absolutely no problem with people remixing older tracks as long as they stay true to the original tune.

Not sure they haven't really been updating their facebook page as much as they used to but one of them was saying that she had been offered loads of work,writing for Ibiza Voice, nice one that sounds something right up my street as ive done some writing about clubs and dance music in the past .;)

I don't have them mate unless you can track down UCD fanzines from 1998, it's not really about Old Skool (unless you consider 1998 old skool which i wouldn't:D
it was all about what was happening on the scene back then, i was a big Techno head that year but thankfully i never turned into a trainspotter/geek.:pac:

My fav track of recent weeks is Jump in the pool by friendly fires, the thin white duke remix. Awesome tune, AFAIK FF rejected it

Plenty of remixes sound excellent so long of as they don't decimate the original tune, the Shapeshifters remix of the clasic Orbital tune Chime is a good example of a remix that sounds excellent but stays true to the original tune.
