Had PJ Sheridan call to the house last night.

I said I am will not be voting for him because he is part of FF.

His reply is I am not FF I am Paddy Sheridan.

    I was like

If he is not FF then he should be running as an Independant

He was quiet annoyed I said I wasn't voting for him

I'd say he was bowled over by your originality there ;-)
I'm in Kildare too. I had Mark Stafford round to the door, but I was in bed. He didnt leave a number. Might give him a shock and call round to his house for a change.

Say it must be the toughest ever for a FF local politician to go round to the houses all the same. Must be getting some rollicking.

    *Shrug*
He has a point - political parties don't really matter on local councils.
I've always been of the opinion that local politics should stay in local politics.

With the exception of Sinn Fein.

    Tough ****!

His choices impact on your opinion of him.

And even if that weren't the case, he's not entitled to be annoyed that you're not voting for him; it's a democracy, and it's YOUR vote to do with what you like.

If he's that annoyed and wants your vote so badly, tell him to resign from the party that he's already disassociated himself with.

Mark's running for FG - you can get his contact details here.

You where to nice to him :)

I've told one Fianna Failure all ready to sling his hook, didn’t even give him a chance to talk.

Currently awaiting the other 2 Fianna Failures to knock on the door.

Must be time for the "Independent Party" for those with a political identity crisis.
