Hello all! Please ensure that you are posting a new thread or question in the appropriate forum. The Feedback forum is overwhelmed with questions that are having to be moved elsewhere. If you need help to verify your account contact hello@boards.ie
Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Only for TCD-heads...but slightly good news is that you can be student, staff or a graduate of the uni to take part.

Here are the rules and entry form:
    http://209.85.229.132/search?q=cache:6X9k_A_X_x0J:www.tcd.ie/Alumni/includes/Photo_Entry_Form.pdf+photo+competition&cd=12&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=ie&client=firefox-a
    original pdf version here:
    www.tcd.ie/Alumni/includes/Photo_Entry_Form.pdf

Be warned though - their T&Cs are rather awful - all entries (in exchange for photog name credit) are forever given to TCD or anyone TCD chooses to sublicense to.

    From the T&C:
"I grant Trinity Foundation, Trinity College Dublin, their agents and assignees the irrevocable right to use, reproduce, distribute, publish and publicly display the images submitted"

"I understand that the image(s) may be used in whole or in part, at any time, in composite, edited or distorted form, in colour or otherwise and maybe published through any medium with out prior agreement. I agree to waive any right that I may have to inspect and/or approve of the use, reproduction, distribution, publication and publicly display of the images submitted or the editorial or advertising that may be used in connection therewith. This consent authorises any initial and subsequent disclosure or publication of the photograph(s) at any time"

    So enter with care!

I fired off an email to the organisers but they are unwilling to change the T&Cs.

I'm just slightly worried that this is a photo harvesting exercise by the college...
