I've just realised I'm going to be of the country for the elections. Am I too late to do a postal vote?

I'd say contact your local authority

AFAIK you won't get postal vote unless you are away on business..i.e. not holidays

If you're just going on holidays, you won't get it.

You need to be an employee of the State, and out of the country on State business, to qualify for a postal vote.
