    Hi all,

    I've got the settings from meteor via sms, which has setup a default configuration within the configuration section of the settings menu

    I've activated the default configuration in all applications, but I cant get opera mini or cabbage text to connect?

    Is there anything else I should be doing?

    W.

    settings->configuration->personal configuration settings->add->access point

    account name: meteor data apn
    go into access point settings
    data bearer:gprs
    go into bearer settings
    GPRS access point:data.mymeteor.ie
    authentication type:normal
    username:meteor
    password:meteor

    settings->configuration->personal configuration settings
    highlight meteor data apn and press options->activate

    settings->configuration->activate default in all applications->yes

    then if you want your browser to use the same access point as java apps:

    settings->configuration->personal configuration settings->add->web
    account name: meteor data
    homepage:http://wap.mymeteor.ie
    username:meteor
    password:meteor
    use preferred access point:yes

    settings->configuration->default configuration settings
    highlight meteor data and press options->set as default
    settings->configuration->activate default in all applications->yes

    Thanks,

    the web one is fine, but the first one doesnt supply the same menu options, to get an option to type in the data.mymeteor.ie I had to select the data bearer as packet data. Is this OK?

    Cabbage is now working, but as I send the message, it always asks if this app can access the internet as its not trusted. can this be turned off?

    Packet data is fine. There's no way to stop the program asking for internet access each time unfortunately
