kitesurfers on the prom

Hi all I was one of the kitesurfers who did a downwinder along the prom yesterday afternoon, great craic and beautiful weather! I noticed that at the Blackrock diving board there was loads of people taking pictures. Was anyone out there one of the people? Its so unsual that we get to kite there and the only reason we could…

Just in case anyone had planned to go down we went down, took some readings and it turns out hurricane Bill was too kind to us and the wind is about 10 knots higher than predicted and very very gusty. Not worth it, we live to kite another day!
