    Its not that bad, considering we only have 3800t of quota.
    It runs from August to now, but from now on the weather will be the big problem
    Its closed as of today.

    resurrecting an old thread here...

    I made sushi with salmon last week and the fish was nowhere near as good as any sushi bar/restaurant fish I've had.

    raw salmon in restaurant sushi has a dense consistency but the salmon I bought (Ballycotton seafood - english market, cork) looked and smelled very fresh but had a much less dense consistency compared to restaurant sushi. It was also quite tasteless compared to restaurant sushi - anyone made good salmon sushi/sashimi using fishmonger bought salmon in Ireland (or even better Cork)?
