Glad to hear it :) The Cyma M4 really needs to be seen (and held) to be appreciated. It looks like every other M4, but it is incredibly weighty and solid which makes it rather unique. She's my new primary!

    Looking forward to the F2000?

Something I have been mulling over the past couple of days:

When shopping, I have always liked having as much information about a product as possible, regardless of what it is...and, I'm also a little lazy, so if it is kept in the one place, I'm all the happier. Don't get me wrong, I'd do a bit of reading around anyway, but I've always been partial to having on-site reviews.

    What do you think?

Would you guys like to see in-store reviews of products, in both video and text format? You could potentially see the products you are interested in, hear a little bit about them, gain a little insight as to their performance etc. Reviews are opinion based though, and factor in personal choice/taste.

Or, do you think it would be better to remove opinions from the equation, and just show the facts/information? In essence, sticking to things like product demonstration, stress tests etc.

Would a review/product demonstration help you decide on an item, or do you think it even matters? I'm all ears for your thoughts...so lay 'em on me :D

Hate the idea of instore reviews. as much as they are only an opinion there always considered biased ,there hasn't been shop I've been to at some stage say this is the best aeg /gbb you have to buy this or that only to see lemons with an exception of a hand full of true gems ,
Personaly I'd rather honest independent reviews good or bad over a sales pitch.

If I was to do a review id base it on medium to long term use of a product in skirmish conditions ,quality ,reliability, costs and then what could be added upgrades wise ,

aye, this is the main thing. No matter how good (quality) a review is, we are still selling the product , which is the key difference.

However, I have personally always liked product demos on sites - where you see it in action, are shown things, but no opinions or reviews come near it. So instead you are just left with a bigger picture

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,200 ✭✭✭J.D.R

I think, not so much a review, but a demo of the product would be a better thing. Showing you the basic ins and outs, showing it firing, showing how to strip it down etc.

I always personally liked that a shop was happy to put their own face next to the product they are selling. Showed that it wasn't a complete piece of crap like.

thats cool, i cant afford one for a couple of months anyway,, any idea how many pennies im going to need to put away????

i think a video of the basic features, price, FPS, range etc would be good and then have the option under the video for consumers to post up reviews, where they can give their own views, with a star rating for quick reference.

on a different note: ill be in tomorrow, have ya's got Co2 and the F2000 :D in black of course. Silent Death is heading in with me i think and my other mate to have a look around for a new M4

We have the F2000 in stock, however it's only available in Tan at the moment - it's a gorgeous piece. It's one of the only Tan guns that actually looks nice :)

Plenty of Co2 as well! :)

I think video demonstrations of the products combined with user reviews is the way to go! I find user reviews to be a little less biased!:p
