Thanks for all the comments lads...I think!
No doubt planning in Ireland for a similar operation would be difficult, if not impossible, but i've no doubt would be very succesful.
The system used for the target zone is now available to buy from cybergun and i'll definately get that.
It includes all the automised targets as well as the software which runs the program.
I tried it out at IWA and honestly it really was good fun and the system worked really well.
They'd built a small version of the whole operation at their stand and it was probably the busiest promotion I saw at the show!

Damn it was really a "you just had to have been there" moment wasn't it :(

Also now that Iam thinking apartment complex is a bit much :o… (ghost estates anyone) so… what about a b&b ????? :D

Set it up in a ghost estate. Put the cafe etc. in one of the houses and turn the rest of the estate into an epic CQB site. ;)

Indoor is the way foward lads for attracting the general public, which is what they're trying to do.
The video games area is free of charge and is to draw people in, so after gaming they can try out the 'real thing'.
Its probably not what you die hard skirmishers would be interested in but in Europe Airsoft is much more available and accessible to the masses. This is taking it one step further.
I will say however you cant help but be drawn in to compete with your buddies for the best times, so it is quite addictive.
Didn't see the CQB area in operation so don't know how that'll work.Guess it will be pretty basic but i suppose you'd have a high turnover of users. No doubt there is only a limited number of scenarios possible is such a confined space

Well it might appeal to teams if you set it up as pop up target course. See who's the most accurate in the quickest amount of time :)

As for the bnb thing I was only joking :pac:

Ghost estates would be brilliant but with the average one costing over a mill and in the hands of Nama it'll be very costly and would require every airsofters in Ireland to visit it in Oder for it to work… a man can dream though… :(

I do indeed; I have the SHS Supershooter 13:1 gears (Solid steel axle, bearing sector clip etc) which are €45, and the G&P motors are normally €45, but are on sale for €30 - so it'd be €75 for the lot :)
