Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bike buying advice

    Hey guys,

I'm thinking of getting a Yamaha Virago 125 cruiser.
The bike has been garaged for a year.

I know nothing about bikes, what should I look for when inspecting the bike?

I've worked with cars and know them pretty well, but know zero about bikes.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    M

Didn't bother to read the link, as I'm on the bus. But just take into consideration you're going to need a full service done - new oil, flter, plugs, airfilter, probably carbs cleaned, etc. Quite a bit of money if the bike wasn't set up right for storage.

You'll need a second oil and filter change pretty soon after cause there'll still be loadsa ****e.
