Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

just wondering if you would know how much it would be to put a towbar on ld fr 02. cheap as poss. used for towing horses thanks

Buy a complete kit inc electrics yourself and get a mechanic to fit it, will take about an hour. Complete kit can be got for £100 or so from the UK or Crozier 4x4 or West Coast Spares here.

The electrics just plug in to the loom, the socket is tucked in behind the trim at the rear on the RHS.

    http://www.lrseries.com/shop/product/listing/12390/STC50391-TOW-KIT-INC-ELECTRICS.html?search=tow&page=1

    http://www.paddockspares.com/stc50391-towing-ball-kit-fixed.html

Freelander will be fine with a single horse, a twin box will probably be over the manufacturer's towing limit (2 tonne)

Does anyone know where on the internet I could get a manual for a Ransomes TS 59 G plough? And where to source some coulters, skimmers for it?
    Thanks:)

  • Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators Posts: 12,705 Mod ✭✭✭✭blue5000

Keep an eye out on ebay.co.uk

    found these similiar ones,
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=Ransomes+TS+59&_sacat=0&_odkw=Ransomes+TS+59&_osacat=0

    No 'G' ones though.

As for parts westlake plough parts. Try google.

The only way you'll find parts in Ireland is to get lucky in an old hardware shop. Maybe try N. Ireland ploughing association too. I think a lot of the skimmers are fairly common to different models so something off a later plough might suit you?

    Good luck
