Sorry Dunbar - cant change the title I]I've changed it - oB[/I

After hearing on the radio that this guy is going to be done for manslaughter, and will no doubt be back on the streets within 10 years (well done justice system again), I was just wondering why was he not done for statutory rape. Is is because there was no physical evidence against him?

And regarding the controversy over the jury not being able to review the evidence given by video link. How can they come out and say that "it wasnt anybody's fault"? If the evidence was meant to be there for review, and wasnt, then it WAS somebody's fault. Does anybody ever get fired for messing up in the public sector??? Say that there will be grounds for appeal on this fact alone.

Th same reason he was done for manslaughter when it seems pretty clear that he murdered the girl. Ireland's justice system stinks!
Rarely do folks get fired for screwing up here. We tolerate failure and cock ups. It's part of what makes us Irish!
