    hi guys can anyone tell me how much to get a alternator fixed for a ford foucs just looking for a in or around figure as it is a bank hoilday weekend

    I have no idea how much an alternator for a Focus will cost sorry.

    Try calling a local Indy dealer they can probably source a reconditioned one for you.

    if your handy enough, you should pick one up in a salvage yard for around €40 to €50... around 2 to 3 hours doing it first time...
    save yourself some money and get satisfaction out of doing it yourself(priceless)
    they aren't too hard to replace

    Father had one done lately. As far as I remember it was €250 fitted

    Depends on the car. Some can require access from underneath and can have several belts and obstructions which need to be removed first.

    You can do it in a lot less agreed, last one I did on a gallant took 20 mins... but first time doing it, haynes manual beside you, reading double checking you are doing it right.. 2 hours isn't unrealistic
