    Any one goin to watch the new series this year, its back in 7 days, will prob watch the first few days and give up after that as per usual.... is this the last year of it?

    No. I watched the first 2 years of it religiously and since then I used to watch it now and again as a bad evening habit. However over the past few years I actively and deliberately weened myself off watching (or even reading about it) to the extent that the 2008 show was the first where I didn't watch a single second of it or have any awareness of who was competing, what they were like or even who won.

    It's weird to follow the show year by year (even just to the extent of having a vague familiarity with the players) to then suddenly have not even 5 seconds worth of knowledge of it anymore. It's like a having a gap in my memory .... but a good gap! I hope to extend it to 2 years this summer.

    I stopped watching when they turned it into a freak show. The first 2 or 3 seasons were pretty good actually (when it was a fresh format).

    FYI, we have a reality tv forum which will cater for all BB discussion over the next 3 months, so I'm moving this thread there.
