Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You will probably get a better response in the modified motors section. This is a proper motorsport forum :)

Joking aside if you go to http://www.dtdirl.com/ they are the big forum for that kinda stuff in Ireland. Just remember to say you have VTEC honda and mention that its a weapon :)

I still don't understand why people on here still don't accept Drifting as a form of motorsport. Irish drifters are among some of the best in the world behind the Yanks and the Japs. Look at Darren McNamara. He started in a shed in Buttevant and now he's one of the worlds greatest. I gone blown out of it a couple of weeks ago on this forum for mentioning the performance's of local drivers in Formula Drift.

I admire the skill definately. I just don't like anything that's judged.

i just prefer proper racing be it wheel to wheel ,time trails or whatever that to me is motor sport. I'm not saying drifting isn't a motor sport but like Biro i just don't like anything that's judged.

Drifting takes skill, and as a spectacle in person I'm sure it's great.

Personally, I'd find people falling down more entertaining to watch and follow though.
Probably more of a sport too!

    +1

No problem with drifting as long as those participating don't get all grandiose and expect it to be considered a form of motorsport.

It is the automotive equivilent of 'Strictly Come Prancing'.
