Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Get a Rear Wheel Drive car. It doesn't have to cost you an arm and a leg. You could pick up a Sierra for a couple of hundred quid or an old 3 or 5 series beemer. Also, Check out driftworks. Their forum is a great place to discuss all things drifting and there's a lot of cars for sale there aswell

A Mk2 escort would make a sweet drift car but if you want something really mad and a bit different what about this ex NI Government Vauxhall Chevette estate which has a welded diff already plus it's in Ireland

What about this but it looks likes it needs a fair bit of work:http://www.adverts.ie/showproduct.php?product=115627&cat=2
BTW, if you were thinking about a MK2 Escort you'd be paying about 10 grand alone for a bare shell and gods knows how much for a fully prepped one

Just look around and you'll find loads of cars for sale. Try the different car sites

Midnightclub.ie and Driver.ie are both drift mad. Always found everyone on MNC very nice and they've a for sale part on the site and its only performance cars, im sure there's pleanty of RWD cars on it.

Have to say i'd absolutely love to get into drifting myself but the fact i've virtually no mechanical expierence is a bit of a turn off, and i'd have nowhere to store it either!

Log onto driftireland.com for info too. They do trackdays every so often, have a buting/selling section and loads of info on what to do to a car to make it more "drifty". Its like a smaller Irish version of Driftworks

Have you set up a budget yet for the build? You're going to have to have a reasonable budget for competing/ rounds too.
