Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Are they gonna play golf instead then?

    I'll take a 2 goal margin.

    I've €10 on Anelka to score first & Chelsea win 3-1 @55/1

Is that a record? Faster than Di Matteo's?

Well done Saha what a start by Everton.

Cracking goal. Offside in the build up play, but Everton deserve a bit of luck.

Saha does like to score against Chelsea. People forget just how good he is when he can get fit.

    Offside!
Don't agree - thechelsea player on the far side was pretty much in line with pienarr. if there was anything between them it was minimal and the attacker should get the benifit of the doubt.

Fastest goal Bob Chatt of Aston Villa after 30 seconds against West Bromwich Albion in 1895.

Fastest in a Wembely Final :Roberto di Matteo 42 secs

What was Saha's, 25 seconds? Record for Saha seemingly.

tight game, chelski are shading it.
Lescott, Hibbert and Osman havent turned up. Saha is too lazy imo

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

Enjoyable enough, Hibbert is being found out badly now, can Moyes make a change there?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,588 ✭✭✭daithijjj

Everton signed a young irish lad from sligo rovers called seamus coleman who plays right back, in january. He is better than hibbert from what ive seen of both of them.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 872 ✭✭✭craiginireland

Options are the Danish international right back Jacobsen on the bench or putting on Rodwell and neville slots in right back.

I'd be nervous putting Rodwell against Essien and Lampard

Great strike from Lampard. Beglin blaming the keeper for not saving a ball going away from him as it heads goalwards. LOL.

Any goalie commentating? That ball is swerving away from him, and the guy is at full stretch trying to keep it out.

Goalkeeper no, but making the point that he reacted late, or didnt move his feet quick enough.

That was a goal from Malouda. Shame it was too quick for the officials.

Looked like 99% of ball was over.

What a joke, that would have been game, set, and match for Chelsea there. What a strike from a Malouda. I don't know what the problem is with bringing technology in. I think I heard before that referees feel that it will supersede their authority. Well guess what, the game isn't all about you.

    .....but, more importantly, Chelsea won.

But don't let that stand in the way of pettiness.

The multi million pound team just too good for Everton. One note on the game, a lot less acting from Drogba today.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,957 ✭✭✭The Volt

Mercenries were too strong for us. Saha's chance at 1-1 was crucial in the game. Can't feel too vindicated at all, excuse me while I cry :(
