It has been discussed on most MMA websites today that despite Evans and Jackson coaching TUF 10, that Machida will still defend the belt against Rampage in September.

Now I have also noted that MMA Junkie are suggesting that UFC 103 (on September 26th) will possibly be in the UK.

Could we be in for the second defense of the light heavyweight title over this side of the pond? It was quite the event when we got to witness Rampage and Henderson undisipute the UFC and Pride titles at UFC 75 in London.

Do you think the UFC will give us another title fight?

In short, no. But they do owe London better than their last card IMO.

Does Rampage still train at Wolfslair?

Maybe he wants to fight in England.

hmmmmm interesting, not sure if rampage is camped in the UK still, would make sense if he was but would the fact he's the challenger not give machida more say as to the where and when?

    After the Rampage fight?

They've already said Rampage is first in line. He was supposed to be fighting Evans, but he got injured so Machida got the title shot.

Well the latest rumour is Machida V Shogun UFC 103, Rampage even had it on his Twitter that he is fighting Evans first and then fighting for the title, providing he wins

Worked out well for the fans. Much rather Machida vs. Shogun and Evans vs. Rampage than the reverse

Not if evans wins, and Machida wins, thats a rematch with little appeal to it.

Also, how did Shogun earn a title shot, beating Coleman and Liddell?

This would be sweet. Had a blast at 85 so will try me best to get over for this if it does get confirmed.

Sadly it looks as though Shogun vs Machida won't be on the UK card. The following is from an MMAWeekly.com conference call with Dana White:

(Asked whether Machida would headline UFC 103, White responded, “that’s not true.”)

MMAWeekly are saying that it will probably be October or November before Machida fights again.

So Rampage Vs Evans is a good headliner still for London but come on, when are they gonna give us another title match?

The rumour was 103 would be in Liverpool or Manchester, dunno if that affects whether Rampage ould be on it.
