Jesus Christ, have you learned nothing in your journey through life?
    It will be Campag Chorus.
    Lizard Skins tape... no.

Can't shift to Campag as I swap out wheels for different things. I would need a whole new sets of wheels and I don't have the dough for that.
    Practicality.
I love Lizardskins - what's wrong with it.

Your devotion to wheel accumulation needs to be re-assessed.
I have one Campag bike but a few wheelsets for it. Also have a Mavic Campag free-hub which sorts me for the few sets of Mavic wheels which I have.

Lizards Skins... I'm a cloth tape fan.

If I was to buy a Campag group I would need 3 wheel sets. Can't do that at present.
Maybe if us poor public servants get a bit of relief on the pension levy in the budget then I might be able to consider

You want three wheel sets for one bike? OK, Your Highness.

One for commuting, one for Audax/sportives/training, one for the occasional race.

This is fundamentally the wrong approach. The correct, and indeed proper approach, is to have four bikes to solve each of these situational conundrums.

I have four bikes. I have six and a half wheel sets - all shaimano compatible. I don't need more wheels sets if instal with Shimano/SRAM.
Hence my decision to avoid Campag.
    Simples.

Here I go with the fundamentals again. You must, fundamentally, NEVER let pragmatics dictate a bike purchase. Lust is the only acceptable influence.

I look forward to seeing you in Howth on your Campag Chorus Ti machine.

Went onto wiggle looking for a bracket for a light that cost about €5, never bought the one thing I went looking for!

My justification is that the freehub on my current Fulcrum 7's decided to disintegrate today. Made for a rather noisy commute home. After I saw the price of a fulcrum freehub (for 7's and 5's) it was clear that new wheels are in order.

    Just pulled the trigger on:

    tarcza-hamulca-shimano-slx-160mm-center-lock-smrt67s.jpg

0,5kg lighter than the current wheelset and 100% UST (no nipple holes). Should be ok for the next Fixx Supercross? :D

Fundamentally speaking it makes sense! Orange to match club gear, I don't wear club gear every day so had to get black too for commuting as they will match pretty much all my gear and the yellow are there because she seen me on wiggle and if I got some and she didn't I'd be ordering a coffin next after spending that much money.

Took me nearly a year to make up my mind

    fn94ci.jpg

From swim cycle run. Down to €600. Come December time on the bike is going to be very limited so want to make best use of it

Got a pair of zonda's for myself there during the week from swim cycle run.

Haven't tried them on the road yet. -Can't say I was over the moon at the sight of them coming out of the box. They're...... grand like. They're intended as "good" training wheels. I think I liked them better before I put the tires on them for some reason - gp2's. I might go so far as to say that if I'd been shopping in a bricks and mortar shop and had been able to pick them up and get a good look at them, then I might not have actually bought them.

But, I was VERY impressed with the box they came in and the way they were packed. Really cool. Fair play to swimcycle run and campag. Slick and tight packaging on a par with Apple. :)

The missus had the day off and three couriers had to show up at nearly the same time, got an out in front mount for my bryton 50 from raceware direct, got my strava grand fondo 8 jersey and got a set of 105 10 speed sti shifters from chain reaction.

A lot of explaining to do
