using a Giant Yukon MTB while my road bike is being built

i did 33.5 km today in 1.30 hr

not bad

good work, what sort of route are you using? found myself a nice route to drogheada and back last nite along the minor roads to incorporate 3 nice hills. did 42km but knee is stiff now so going to take it handy tonight

fair play on that cycle - missed my bike last nite - usually do monday, wednesday and sat so was weird missing my midweek cycle. saw a bit of the swords race but not much to be honest. keep it up

hey sorry i had no credit to reply to your text. bit of a mixed weekend for me - did 2 hard days totalling 115km, but blew out 2 tubes on the swords spin and ended up in a ditch one of the times. then on sunday came off my bike and made **** of my elbow hands and leg. so prob tale a few rest days now. i see you' ve been out again regularly - thats great - consistency is the key!!

A sat or sunday morning would be best for that. or if you can free up 2 and half hours straight after work. just go spend the time on the road, dont worry about speed

Nice one,I am at about the 60k mark myself.Have you any goals...?I am going to try and hit the magical 100k mark before the end of the summer.

no personal goals yet

just want to lose weight and get fitter

considering at the start 11km around the park would kill me lol im not doing to bad , slowly getting there tho

I just stucl with the old bike,I will be upgrading but I would say it will be for next summer.
