Just about the standard of play and the sick beats that do be dished out. The guy who knocked you out of the JP Masters qualified there if i remember corerctly plus ive heard they put on some really good games if i was closer i would defo make a trip out there.
sick beats are dished out ANYWHERE! yes, Mick the Mercyless (i've just come up with this name for him.... please assume this has been trade marked by me if he goes on to knock out 5,589 of the players in a 7000 runner WSOP). Larry puts a lot of effort into this game. the structure is great, the barby and drink fantastic value for the reg. You should organise a few lads for a night out and make the end of month

Played this for the first time last night. Well organised game with solid structure and very good spread put on at the break. Heat was a killer last night tho with air con not working or just not working near me.

Good standard of play mostly. Early on this cost me a chunk:
SB75, BB150. Raise to 450 with A8 and after getting two callers (Button & BB I think) get ready to drop it until -
    Flop: 8c8s9s.
Flop: BB check, I bet 875, Button fold, BB call.
Turn: 4c (or some rag club)
BB check, I bet 1975, BB call.
    River: 6c
BB leads for 3500, I call. 9c7c shown for runner, runner flush.
Sat tight then with no cards really until I double thru with JJ vs A6, and then as soon as I'm kinda comfortable again walk KK straight into AA. Ah well...

Well run Larry and hope to play this again!

lar this is a great game with great value,,just think u might need 2 make 1r2 little changes so u dont loose numbers....1.think change of date 2 maybe 2nd tuesday of month might help as 2 $270 games in a week is stretching 4 some people....2.think maybe 11,000 chips wit 1,000 bonus might work a bit better 2 avoid a silly 8 way chop again...3.maybe if u were goin 2 leave the 15k s.s.,think about bringing final table back another night so it can b played out.....these r just a few toughts i had and i hope i dont ofend u with them as i think its super game..:rolleyes::rolleyes:

you're damn right keith and thank you for mentioning the issue ,since tuesday I'm thinking about new changes !

The date defo will be changed for a different tuesday !

The Structure would really suit a 2 day event! However dont think that will work !

Starting stack defo should be reduced maybe to 10K+1K Early Bird !

I think we have to ask the rest of the players what do they think?

    Thanks

    Keith

lar the only reason i said anything coz in all my years i dont think i saw such an unfair chop of cash..and 4 ur sake its not really good 2 b doing 8b way chop at 6 in the morning, think it might put some people off playing especially on a tuesday wen most people r in work next morning.i hope u work something out but dont 4get that in u ask everybody ur going 2 get a mixed eraction so u need 2 make the right decisions 4 ur sake.tanx 4 listening as usual larry and best of luck .keith:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

    Hi Larry,

Ya id have ta agree that dropping the starting stack to 10+1 would finish it a bit quicker, or bringin d final table back to wed at around 8. The new structure is very good though!
