Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Commerical prices

I'm shopping around for a commerical jeep at the moment, and even though most passenger cars/jeeps have had price adjustment, the commercial market still seems to be in fantasy land. Even a quick look through carzone/adverts/carsireland/cbg shows 00 jeeps selling for 7/8 k, and 97's for 5k.

Unsurprisingly, I viewed a 04 Pajero Sport Commercial yesterday with 71k miles on it. Needed about 500 Euro bodywork, but I could have bought it for 3k. Wrote the cheque, handed it in only to be told it had already been sold - which was to be expected at that price, but it highlights just how off the market is - even though it's common knowledge that jeeps/vans aren't selling too well at the moment.

Another example is that you can buy a new Caddy van for 9k + Vat at the moment, but there's still 03 Caddy's being sold for 5k around. With all the pain the car trade has gone through in reflecting prices to reinject some life into it, the commercial market is in for a pretty rude awakening IMO, I'm just surprised it hasn't happened yet.
