Cool - they shouldn't have announced it - now there will be someone on their way down to shannon with a hammer.

    :(

I was hoping any practice or fly past today would be a bit later in the evening. Won't get out of work until about 3:45 and it usually takes 2hrs to get home to Galway from Athlone on Friday evenings. :(

Sorry to tell you but it will probably be a bit longer this evening.

I know, not looking forward to it at all. I don't know what possesed me to drive to work today, I should have took the train.

Am considering diverting via Athenry on the R348 and then take the R349 into Galway. Main problem is that the roads around Athenry are in such a bad state I could end up damaging my car..

I heard the rumble, they flew in from my blind side and I don't have time to point the camera in thier direction. Got some shots of them in the distance though, over in the pics thread.

That's an amazing picture, no I don't mean the quality or the Red Arrows. No it's the blue sky and fluffy white clouds.

Hi all, hope you enjoyed that:) The Red's base is RAF Scampton in Lincoln, not Farnborough, RAF Farnborough is a British Aerospace Base.
