Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Yeah, I wasn't there but apparently so.

    Great for here. We've suppressed the MCD gig shots for a long time respecting the predicament the site found itself in.

    I'm guessing its now a free for all for gig photos. From what I understand there are no preconditions on the removal of the site wide ban - Cabansail can clarify but I think that's where were at.

    Seriously.... There was a Mod's Town Hall Meeting (we had a few Beers) last night. DeVore gave those who were there an update on a few things happening on the site. The big announcement was that the MCD blackout is now over. There are various reasons for this and a lot of them involve a big floppy hat (I think).

    The message is that MCD is now to be treated like any other company & the same rules apply to any other companies. As for this forum, it means you can post pictures of gigs, discuss photography at venues and restrictions in place at them etc.

    I think there will be some sort of announcement across Boards.ie, but those dedicated Mods who endured drinking pints on your behalf (it's a hard life) were allowed to remove the restrictions as soon as we logged in.
