Myself and a friend have decided to go up Sunday for the volvo race, looking for somewhere to stay sunday night thats relatively cheap.. would the hostels be booked out?

Cheap and available in galway on the june back holiday weekend with the volvo ocean race in town.....your not asking for much!
A lot of ringing around will be needed Id say.
I just drove on the Quincentennial Bridge at around 10.30 this morning and the traffic heading over the docs/salthill direction was mad....going to be a nutty weekend.1
