Can anyone tell me what's in those lockers you can buy for the weekend? Are they worth it, and where are they located?

Also, I hear they have phone charging capabilities similar to that of a car but I'm open to correction on that as always!

How do you get a job at Oxegen? That's pretty cool!

True, I'll be working there but the gardaí you see is probably only half of whats actually there, there will be loads of plain-clothes Gardaí there too I'm sure so just because you can't see 'em doesn't mean they're not there!

I was there last year and I thought it was very well run. Anywhere I went the security guards seemed to be patient and polite, even with the rude drunks. Anyone getting aggressive was taken away or calmed down with minimal fuss. With any luck it will be the same story this year.

My ticket arrived yesterday. I've been grinning like an idiot ever since.:D

Not long left now lads, not long really. So Im guessing.. the best place to camp is a good bit away from the crowds? Red seems to be safer? Hope I dont get robbed:rolleyes:

they have lockers there so you can put you important stuff there eg id phone wallet etc... but they are tiny though and they have a place to charge your phone in it well so it said on the site anyway!!

    My plan:

    Friday:
    16:20 Japanese Popstars
    19:00 Aeroplane
21:30 catch a bit of Swedish House Mafia
    21:50 Pendulum
    23:15 2 Many DJs
Then hopefully catch a bit of Deadmau5

    Saturday:
    18:30 Dr Lektroluv
    19:30 Digitalism
    21:30 Boys Noize
23:00 catch a bit of Tiga
23:30 Kings of Leon, or if Tiga is really good I think I'll be staying in the Dance Arena

    Sunday:
    15:15 Calvin Harris
    19:00 Bloody Beetroots
    20:00 MSTRKRFT
22:00 catch some of Felix Da Housecat
    22:40 NIN
Then back to the Dance Arena to finish it all off, hopefully Felix will get an extra long set!

Will probably see a few more acts than expected too.

It's a bit early yet but here's a few predictions:

    http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/businesstraveler/extended/EIXX0014
    http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/event_forecast.asp?eventID=830
    http://uk.weather.com/weather/10day-Kildare-EIXX0020

They don't look too bad at all, no rain and sunshine!

yeah but if the rain keeps up the way it is here anyway, then punchestown will most likely still be waterlogged and muddy, could end up being sunny but muddy like '07 again!

Last year though it rained a good bit for the first two days. Then it was sunny and the ground dried up very quickly I thought. So hopefully with a bit of sunshine beforehand the ground will be nice and dry.

It really isn't great... Most days I have no acts to go and see until 6 o'clock at the earliest, and all the good groups seem to be clashing a good bit

I'll concede paying the guts of €400 to NIN is a bit steep.

    It'll be a good weekend :)

Oxygen is ridiculously overpriced for what you get in return. Glad I'm not going.
