Passionfruit Theatre in Trouble

    Hey all, as some of you might have heard, the Passionfruit Theatre was turfed out of Northgate Street recently for no good reason. There's a full account of it on the website http://www.passionfruittheatre.com/.


    There's currently a petition online http://www.petitiononline.com/passiont and it would be much appreciated if people would sign it. There's also a paper petition going around, we have one in The NetCafé in Irishtown if you'd like to pop in and stick your name on that one.

    It would be appreciated if people would spread the word about this.

    Between the means in which they were kicked out, the underhandedness of it all, the amount of public (from the dormant funds account) and private (both raised and donated) to the tune of €100,000 it would be a disgrace to allow this to pass.

    The purpose of the petition is to submit it to the landlords/building owners to show the public's annoyance and anger at the move.
