That is on the high side.

For an 04 I'd be looking for something around 60,000 miles or less if I could get it.

Check the breaks. With that sort of millage they'd be well ussed.

Normal millage would be 10-20K per year. Unless it was a taxi/hackney.

    mill⋅age

    –noun
the tax rate, as for property, assessed in mills per dollar.

Niamh is that 108,000 miles or kilometers?

In 2004 a lot of cars had switched to kilometers, 108k kilometers would be 67,500 miles.
    Just check that.

Ha, Ha, and you can't spell grammar either.

Niamh, if the mileage of that BMW is in kilometres that would not be too high but if it is in miles it could be rather high. Depends on the overall condition and the price.

Care to post a link to the car ad?

Don't worry too much about the mileage so long as it's been well maintained......I've a '01 320d SE with 150k+ miles and it's going sweet as a nut.

I would be keen to see a complete Service History, before I would part with Cash. Not knocking them (well I could because I had One and it cost me in excess of 4k on repairs) but do your homework. Here is a list of repairs I had to do from an out of the wrapper Car to 42K miles. Abs Sensor, Back Wheel Bearing, Left and right Window motors, Air Mass Sensor, Left hand wishbone, Fan Blower,Electrical problem.. right Dip bulb would last six weeks or so.... and so on. Not alarming you ... but see the car's history... it can tell you a lot. Mine was bad .... My friend had to replace the engine

Whatever car you end up seriously thinking about, get it looked at by a professional first!

    Hmm... Motors...

    *checks again*

    Yup, it's Motors alright...

OP, start a new thread if you like. Also, for your own benifit, it's mileage.

*Nervously checks post for grammatical error*

@ OP - mileage shouldn't matter as much as how well it has been looked after during those miles, which is why I recommended getting it inspected!
