    Hi,
have just bought some nice plants for the hall (1 metre tall Ficus, etc), however I can't arrange them in a balanced way as some spots/corners in the hall get direct sunlight through a velux window. Can anyway recommend plants that can tolerate direct sunlight for at least 3-4 hours a day?

    many thanks

I'd be surprised if any plants can't handle direct sunlight. I bought some plants today which wouldn't be happy with noon/afternoon sun but that can be handled by just watering them a little more. Just keep them moist and they'll be ok.
