Anyone use one of these canadian type canoes

    "Canadian Canoe Mackinaw delux 3 seat ". They spec it as a flat bottom which I presume is good for stability. Have seen them for £419 but all UK mainland based and the cheapest here is €599. Any good places up North to look out for

    hi i got one sunday , 2 adults and 2 kids no bother .took it out on the suir river and had a great day . the plastic is a bit thin but for that price i think its a great boat .heavy enough to carry around so will make some kind of trolly .couldint find anything cheaper around , if you have the few bob its worth it .good balance as well no probs geting in or out .took no time to get used to paddling ,all round a good boat for the price .:D

    just don't use them in rough water or on the sea. as long as teh waves are low they are very stable.

    Sold mine before I left Canada for Ireland.
