Should my celicas RPM meter allow me to go into the redline area?

    Kinda weird question, but when my revs get to the redline it wont go into it i.e above 7000rpm it shoots back down a bit and slows the car down until I change gear.

    Excuse my ignorance but is that what its meant to do? if ye can understand me LOL

    In short, no. Maximum power is delivered at 6krpm approx in VVTi celica so u shouldnt need to go beyond this
