Advice on Kitchen Extractor Fans

    In my Kitchen there is a 30 year old Xpelair extractor fan but i don't think its working properly. I saw in B&Q today a kitchen extractor fan for 55euro.Is it a straight forward process changing one of these or would i need to get an electrician to do it? tia
