After three months of checking, TK Maxx finally got in some cast iron cookware and I finally have my 12" cast iron skillet. Pre-seasoned Old Mountain, no less. Seasoned it this morning, fried a little bacon this afternoon and then this evening, a lovely striploin steak, salt on both sides, seared to within an inch of carbon so there was a beautiful crust on it, rested while making a brandy/cream/pepper pan sauce, and nyom nyom nyom

I was going to get some from nisbets, but a 10 euro pan and a 20 euro postal fee wasn't sitting well with me
