Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Question on change of ownership.
The seller bought the car from a friend and the car is taxed until July 09 so he never bothered to send the cert off to shannon
The original owner name is still on the cert.
Is it ok to buy this car or could there be problems over the cert?

Do you know the seller (and know where they live)?
If not, then walk away! There are so many cars for sale that you don't want to walk into a potential legal problem!

Personally I wouldn't go near a car if there were questions over the ownership cert. Unless you can get the owner to get ownership in his own name (which could take a couple of weeks) and hand you over the cert, I wouldn't take the car - and I wouldn't even pay him a deposit if I were you!
