Probably won't be able to get to an off license in next week. Would it be fairly easy to get into naas from punchestown on the thursday?

whatever idiot has tv on the radio and elbow on at the same time should be fired. i resigned myself to the fact that 2many djs, deadmau5 and blur were gonna clash and always intended on seeing blur. But Elbow/Tv.... is criminal. Boyz noize clash with Crystal Castles too. Bloody Beetroots and the specials is personally dissappointing too

Yay I get to see Pet Shop Boys and Kol!

No idea about Thursday yet. Evening I reckon. I'm not sure how I'm even getting down there tbh. Either my mate'll drive down and I'll blag a parking space, his brother will drive us down, or we'll bus it. I'm hoping his brother will drive us down. I'd rather the two of us stay well clear of cars for the weekend :-/

Thanks again to Mystic86 for posting all that up.

Probably will take about 5 minutes or so since it's a DJ act.

Staying in a campervan and wondering how the bejeebus we can get power to it? Anyone any ideas? The web says that generators aren't allowed. So do people use them anyway? Are there generator police? Any other suggestions?

Fionnuala Sheehan, Chief Executive of drinkaware.ie encourages music fans to plan how they are going to get to and from Oxegen in advance. She explained that ‘Your body gets rid of roughly one standard drink per hour; that’s one hour for half a pint, or a small glass of wine or a single shot to be eliminated from your body. To avoid being at risk the morning after, use the drinkaware.ie website to look up the various public transport options that will get you to and from Oxegen quickly and safely or designate a non-drinking driver. The drinkaware.ie special Oxegen Survival Guide – with insider tips – gives practical hints and tips that will help ensure a safe and enjoyable Oxegen festival experience’

What's the turnover of people at the stages like? I don't really want to have to sit through some god awful bands to be in a good spot for some of the bigger acts! Do lots of people just feck off after the band they want to see has stopped playing?

Anyone know what the Centra is like at Oxegen? Do they sell normal stuff at normal prices? I'm assuming they don't sell alcohol.

I also heard that it's possible to go to Naas town to get supplies, how would you go about this?

    Thanks

It's a basic enough Centra, no deli, alcohol or stuff like that. Can't remember what the prices were like, wasn't too cheap anyway. There's hot water if you wanna use it for noodles or whatever.

And yeah there's a free bus that runs into Naas daily, goes from the Blue campsite entrance. Runs pretty regularly too.

It's obviously a mistake. Of Montreal are on before them and there is no way they are playing a set from 8:05 til 9:45. I'd guess it's 8:05 til 9 at the latest and Flo to be on from 9:20 or so. Maybe a little earlier.

basically you have three or four stages. so you should have plenty to occupy you between the bands. but theire is a bit of waiting about between acts. normally twenty to thirty minutes.

they do sandwiches, snacks that type of thing. it is so expensive, it makes a regular centra look like lidl. bring as much food as you can with you!

Does anyone have any suggestions about how to keep the beer cold for 4 days?

Was thinking of getting a bin and filling it up with water(Is this possible?)
    Does the shop sell Ice?

If that reply was directed at me, then I think you took up my question wrong. If you want to be in a good spot (like close to the front) for one of the "headlining" bands, how long in advance would you have to be in the arena for?
