Oil for lawnmower ?

    I have a petrol self propelled lawn mower at home which i know feic all about other than how to start it.
    It has a seperate compartment for oil which i think i need to change

    what kind of oil do i need ?

    SAE30 monograde. 1 pint if it is a Briggs and Stratton. 1/2 litre if it is FIAT Technamotor Tecumseh Aspera

    about the only two stroke self-mixers that I know of are Lawnboys and I doubt you've got one of them so it's a four stroke.
