Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Rover 45

Having had some major engine work done on a Rover 45, the engine management warning light stays on all the time. The mechanic gave assurances that its just "one of those things" and no cause for concern. This seems to be so, as it has been driving trouble free for about 9 months with the light on, but it would be nice to turn it off. Any thoughts, and for what its worth, the work done consisted of a new head gasket. As an aside, the temp gague tends to have a life of its own also since this was done, staying in the cold, when the heating is switched on, as though its not working at all, but tending to function normally (12 O clock) when the heating is turned to cold. Many thanks for any input.

Checked out that Rover site and it seems that the only way of getting the light sorted is to go to a Rover garage or someone with a diagnostic tool and see what the fault actually is, if any. May be related to the sometimes slightly "missing/ lumpy" idle, which doesnt occur when driving.

Will look into it, just thought it may be possible to reset it if there isnt any actual fault. Thanks
