Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    New Reading manager:

"I know when I was at Chelsea they were interested in Doyle so I know he is well thought of at that level. The reality of keeping him is difficult."

Really, really hoping we can bag a draw here. It would be such a big result if we can get it.

It's a pity about the injuries - we could've done with Doyle up front and the option of Gibson in midfield even if he didn't start :( Still at least McShane is also out!

Avram Grant said he admired him and he had some qualities that might work in our 4-3-3 system. We were linked with Kevin Davies for the same reasons. Nothing was going to come of it.

Hopefully Andrews will have a big game vs S. Petrov.

Then we can have Whelan on the ball retaining possession in the middle and maybe nick a 1-0 win *fingers crossed*

Yeah but the point being that if it was a Bulgarian player that it was said about we'd all be creaming ourselves about how fantastic a team they have.

We're certainly no Spain or Brazil but we're certainly good enough to be in the shake up with most European teams. We just don't give ourselves enough credit sometimes. Granted there's a fine line between being positive and delusional but we tend to give other teams more credit then we give ourselves.

And so would we. Presumably Trap would have to move O'Shea longside St Ledger and - most worryingly - McShane in at right-back to go against Petrov.

    We'd be screwed.

    McShane is injured, no??

Would be Foley or Kelly at RB and Sheasy at CB
