David Simon on RTE Radio 1 before 10

    David Simon will be on the Ryan Tubridy show (presented by Dave Fanning this week) on RTE Radio 1 before 10am this morning.

    Perhaps it's the start of a lot of radio appearances today; it might be an idea to keep an ear out.

    I thought it was good, but I like Fanning as an interviewer, and someone like Simon suits him. The discussion focused more on the books than anything. Radio 1 do have some Tubridy downloads here, so they might put it up.

    As did a lot of the interview last night. It's no surprise as he's over here to promote them - 'The Corner' for example has never been published here before until now (I have the US edition).

    He was on the Simon Mayo show later that day on 5Live.It will be on the BBC Radio iPlayer!

    He has an interview in today's Irish Times Weekend section. Its pretty good and mentions The Wire a lot. You can read it here.
