    Hi All,

I recently bought an m-audio xponent to use out at gigs. I had planned to use the 'xponent gig bag' to carry the xponent to and from gigs, however m-audio seemed to have ceased production of them. Does anyone use an alternative bag to carry the xponent, laptop and cd case for backup ?

    Thanks in advance

    Mr Woods

    Cheers cork45,

Thanks for the link, all these sites list them as available, but unfortunately when you order them they come back not in stock due to m-audio's ceasing of production :(.............Have tried lots of US sites as well and still the same problem persists.

I don't have a xponent but recently bought one of these:
    http://nambagear.com/big-namba-studio-backpack
and I've just checked and it will hold an xponent as well as all the other bits and bobs.

I use mine to carry a 17" lappy, m-audio 25 keyboard, trigger finger, fasttrack pro, microphones and all the cables and bits.

It's designed for a laptop studio on the move which is what I use it for.

They have a distributor in Switzerland who will send it via courier. Expensive at €140 but I can take mine all over the world and it fits as cabin luggage on a Ryanair flight, which is nice.

Cheers Greg, looks like we have a winner :). Did you get yours direct from that site or elsewhere ?

honestly any bag from companys like burton or similar snowboard companys will do similar bags to that.

i have a burton bag and i carry my macbook pro around in it as well as my rme soundcard, headphones etc.
i didnt see the price of them other backpacks but if there expensive look into burton bags

I contacted Namba Gear in the USA who pointed me towards their Swiss distributor http://www.cuepoint.ch/en

I did find the web site a little awkward so after a little emailing tracked down the person to speak with. His name is Franco and the email address is sales@cuepoint.ch

after that, I just did all my purchasing via email with them. I did take the precaution of sending them off a list of all the equipment I'd be putting in the bag and got them to simulate my setup (yea, I'm pernickety about these things when the money is hard earned) before clicking purchase.

A cute bonus is the facility to be listed on the Namba Gear web site as artist of the month to help push a little traffic to your music web site. No doubt I'll email them off a pic of me at the Life Fest carrying the bag to the stage ... wearing a sarong :p ... the vanity of it all

There is a thread on the Torq DJ website about xponent case options.

Thanks for all the replies. Gonna see if 'Franco' can hook me up with a 'Big Namba'.........which is proving just as elusive as the xponent gig bag !!!! :)

    Btw I'm lovin this !!!
