UTV Internet user - can you try a site for me ?

    I wonder if someone who is using UTV internet can try a site for me.

    The site is http://www.procanvas.co.uk and I can't access it via my home PC using UTV internet.

    I know it's working (via my mobile phone and a proxy) - but can't get to it directly.
    I think it's something to do with UTV (having tried lots of other things, and contacted support), but want to eliminate the possibility of it being caused by other software on my PC.

    Not working here at work on UTV. Tried it with LogMeIn at home on BT and it is working fine there.

    Try changing your DNS servers to 4.2.2.2 and 4.2.2.1

    Thanks Barnicles - but it's not a DNS problem.
    I normally use OpenDNS, but also tried UTV's own DNS for testing purposes.
    And I can't access the site via its IP address either.

    is a handy website to ascertain whether a site is up or not independently of your Internet connection.

    Why would UPC block access to this site? Because it looks like this is the case.
    ISP starting to block sites for our own sake? Ain't Dubai/China here..
    Especially this one..

    Yep - it's weird.

    It worked fine when I tried it a few weeks ago.

    The two current possibilities are :

    (1) UTV are blocking access to it (probably accidentally)
    (2) The sites host has blocked any access from the UTV range of IP addresses

    Still have a call open with support - but it seems pretty conclusive that it's not a problem on my PC.

    Hi, I can access that site with my Ice connection but not my UTV...probably already enough confirmation for you anyway.

    Fine here on an Amocom connection with Smart Telecom backhaul.

    I can't either.
    Can any UTV people get onto www.bangcd.com? I haven't been able to access it for months now.
