Just looking through the past papers at the questions and have a query. Do you have to switch from text to text when answering like HL? Also how many do you have to write about?

And do you have to answer on Macbeth?

    1. Yes you have to compare the texts.
    2. if it says text, compare with 1 other text and if it says texts compare with two other texts
    3. What else have you studied ?

But can you just right a load on one then the other or do you have to do it like HL. The questions seem to be wordedl slightly differently on OL. e.g.

    1. (a) “Relationships can be very complicated.”
Describe a relationship which you have studied in one of the texts on your
comparative course, and explain why you found it to be complicated. (30)
    (b) Choose a relationship from another text on your comparative course and
explain why you found this relationship more or less complicated than the
    one you described in (a).
Remember to refer to both relationships in the course of your answer. (40)

I've studied PHC, Curious Incident and Cinema Paradiso.
