SONY STR-DH500 - quick question

    Hi, very quick question. is it possible to input a laptop and an xBox into this machine and then have it output either signal to a projector? In other words will it redistribute the HD signal in the HDMI out?

    Also, if I input a composite video (from a tuner) will this machine output the signal over the HDMI out?

    The answers are probably obivious tho it's not explicit from the description of the product.

    Yes the new Sony will up convert -
    Yes your laptop+360 can be connected at the same time-
    *Warning* does not have Bluray/ Hi Def audio support.

    I ended up buying the Sony str dg720:

    Arrived yesterday but having a problem routing the laptop via hdmi to the projector via the amplifier. The resolution is totally changed....yet connecting the laptop directly to the projector works fine.
