    Any ideas folks?........google didnt really turn up a lot of useful info. Id like to pull some stills form HDV footage. My HC3 take a memory card, but I'd rather do it on the PC.

    Any ideas how I could do this? Animation Studio maybe?

    Your editing software should have a facility to export any frame as a still image.

    Bear in mind, the resolution is going to be low (1440x1080 for HDV) so at print res., you're going to have a fairly small image.

    Thanks for chiming in. Ill look again at my software, I have Vegas Pro8......

    Yea, res is going to suck, but its better than taking a pic from VHS, yuktastik!

    /edit tis east enough....Render as...Jpg series :)
