Typical credit card refund time

    Just wondering, what is a typical amount of time I can expect to wait before a refund to a credit card, actually hits the account?

    I know the card companies have their own figures on sites, but (in banking particularly) I often find them to be grossly exaggerated (probably just to cover themselves in case).

    Anyone have a typical number?

    It can happen in as quick as 24hrs, depends on a few factors
