I picked up the new Otep album, Smash The Control Machine, yesterday and I'm loving it so far. The songs are a bit easier on the ears than some of the earlier stuff but the lyrics are still as scathing as ever.

After the Burial, from Sumerian records so often compared to other bands on the label but i think they have a more individual sound.

Between the Buried and Me, one of the most celebrated bands of the last few years, especially their last album Colors. This is Selkies, the last half of the song is Godly :D

Ghost Brigade, just recently discovered this great Melodic Death Metal/Progressive band. This is from the brilliant new album Isolation Songs.

Time to bring some Finnish to this thread.

Norther - Death Unlimited is a fantastic album.

Ensiferum - Norther's singer left that band to continue on with this crowd.

I've mentioned this band in a previous "Recommendation" thread. They are Diablo Swing Orchestra from Sweden. They've a new album out now called Sing Along Songs for the Damned and Delirious. I went to the album launch concert in London a few weeks ago and they did not disappoint.
